Kaapke offers a practical based introduction in artistic glaze research, laboratory work, firing processes and glaze documentation. Experiments with existing recipes will result in the creation of an own physical-red-archive, fitting to the individual artistic interests and needs of the single participant, which the participants can take home together with their own recipe booklet after the Masterclass.

Aside from the practical exercises the participants will receive theoretical subjects and knowledge about application examples of the color red in the artistic field of ceramics.
